Sharad Agarwal, head of Lamborghini India, said, “Pace of growth in last three years is much higher than previous years combined. The year 2021 is expected to be a record year for us,” said Agarwal.
To celebrate the occasion, Lamborghini curated an experience for its customers at three different locations. Lamborghini Day India 2021 was celebrated over three weekends and across three locations; Mumbai-Pune, Bangalore-Hampi and New Delhi-Jewar with over 50 enthusiastic customers participating in the driving event.
The event concluded with the various models of Lamborghini driving through the beautiful landscapes of the country, covering a distance of 1,350 km across the cities.
In an action-packed year, Lamborghini launched in the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, Urus Pearl Capsule and Urus Graphite Capsule, and Huracán STO in India.
While the first 300 cars took more than a decade, Agarwal thinks the next 300 or a landmark will be achieved much quicker.
“Urus is a game-changer for us. The practicality of an SUV meant the dream of owning a Lamborghini became much easier,” said Agarwal adding the particular car dominates the sales in the country with over 50% share.
