95-Year-Old WW2 Vet Only Waited 30 Days For New Corvette

Bobbie Carson, an Army veteran who served the US during the final stages of WW2 recently got behind the wheel of his brand new Chevrolet Corvette after waiting only 30 days. The 95-year-old veteran was greeted with a brand new 3LT Arctic White Stingray Coupe outside the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky after being bumped up the waiting list by some appreciative Chevy employees.

“I’ve had seven of these cars,” Carson told WNKY-TV. “This dwarfs every one of them. This is one of the top-rated cars in the world and there is a waitlist all over the world for this car so I’m happy to get it and they gave me a great honor to get me in a position to get one.”
