BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind’s house vandalised by TRS workers in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: A group of TRS activists stormed the house of BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind on Friday and vandalised the property. Police picked up some of the accused and efforts are on to identify the other accused. The MP was not at home when the vandalism happened.
According to police, about 20 TRS party activists suddenly came on bikes and stormed into Aravind’s house at the MLA Colony in Banjara Hills on Friday morning.
Raising slogans against the MP for allegedly making negative remarks against TRS MLC Kalwakuntla Kavitha, the protesters stormed into the house and damaged the property. They damaged the window glasses, a parked car and the furniture.
The few security personnel at the house reportedly remained as mute spectators even as the protesters went on rampage scaring the domestic helps.
After damaging the property, the protesters also set ablaze an effigy of the MP in front of the house and staged a protest before the police reached there and took some of the accused into custody.
