Vishal Sakharam Devrukhkar’s ‘Boyz 3’ has succeeded in winning the hearts of the audience. On this basis, the account of ‘Boyz 3’ has collected Rs 3.05 crores in the first weekend. Unfortunately, the has also wooed controversy after objections from Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, a pro-Kannada outfit.

According to a leading entertainment portal, the member of the outfit alleged that this film would fan the border dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The outfit has also demanded that Boyz 3 should not be released in Belagavi claiming that it insults the Kannada language and Karnataka police.

The report suggests that the dialogues in this movie can be destructive to the peaceful environment of Belagavi. It also states that the member of a group has submitted the police commissioner a memorandum for not screening of the movie in the State.

Talking about the film, ‘Boyz 3’ narrates the story of three friends (Parth Bhalerao, Sumant Shinde and Pratik Lad) who set out on a journey that proves to be a journey of a lifetime and leads them to hilarious situations.

The film was released in theatres on 16 September 2022.
