You can get a roof-mounted cargo basket for $350. This one, called the Canyon, is 44 inches long, 39 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep and features the Jeep logo. It has a low-profile design to cut through the wind and maximum load capacity is 150 pounds. Mopar roof-rack crossbars are needed for this, costing $300, and Mopar also suggests the cargo net ($54) to keep your gear secure.
A watersport carrier is $200 and can carry a kayak, surfboard or sailboard and has several positions to fit flat or curved hulls. It comes with latching and a nylon strap to hold down the cargo. It too requires the roof-rack crossbars. There’s also a tent kit (though it’s not a rooftop tent) for $390. It comes with a 10×10 blue and gray tent with an overhead storage net, an exterior canopy, inside pockets, three mesh windows and a carrying case.
Mopar also offers new wheels, splash guards, floor mats, bike carrier and dozes of other add-ons. It’s only about half the amount of Ford Bronco accessories, but we’re sure more will be added soon.
