However, the Congress party alleged that police were preventing the MP from going to Parliament.
TPCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi alleged that senior Congress leaders, including A Revanth Reddy, have been placed under house arrest by the police on Monday morning.
While the Congress leaders alleged Reddy was stopped by police from going to the Parliament, Banjara Hills ACP M Sudarshan said they had not prevented the MP from going to the Parliament.
“We are here to inform the MP that he can not visit Kokapet for a protest. We are not preventing the MP from going to the Parliament,” the ACP said.
