Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager BPS-Lean Operations (Level M) to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a lean practitioner with increasing organizational influence with operational leaders as a Lean+ Subject Matter Expert
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • 10+ years’ experience do you have in leadership and management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering
  • Six Sigma Certification

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Salary Range:

$127,000 – 227,000
