The Boeing Company is currently looking for a USAF E-7A Weapon System Architecture Manager to join their team in Tukwila, WA.
This position will focus on supporting the US Air Force E-7A program.
A successful candidate will have leadership experience in Systems Engineering.
Manages, develops, and motivates a team of Systems Engineers in performing program statement of work.
Drives successful execution of engineering tasks involving system architecture, system performance, technical performance measurements, advanced studies and analysis, and mission systems integration.
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.
Effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Partners with other Engineering team leaders to understand needs, meet handoff commitments, and resolve issues.
Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way.
Manages a group of roughly 12-15 direct reports.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years’ experience in an engineering management and/or lead position.
Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $147,050 – $198,950
